Do I need experience or qualifications to work in care?
No previous experience or formal qualifications are required to begin your career at Network Care and Support. We provide full training and ongoing support to help you develop the skills you need. Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are the most important qualities we look for. 
What does a typical day look like working in care?
A day in care can vary depending on the role and the needs of the individual you're supporting. It may involve helping with personal care, assisting with meals, administering medication, or providing companionship and support with daily activities. 
What types of roles are available for new starters?
We have a range of entry-level roles in homecare, supported living, and children’s community support. Positions such as support workers and home care workers, and palliative care workers are available for those starting out. 
Will I be able to progress in my career?
Absolutely. We offer clear career pathways with opportunities for promotion and development. With experience and training, you can progress into more senior roles such as senior care assistants, team leaders, or even into management positions. I have experience in care—what roles are available for me? 
For experienced care workers, we offer a variety of specialist roles, including Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, Crisis Intervention Support Worker, and live-in care professional. These roles often come with additional responsibilities and higher rates of pay. 
How do you support the professional development of experienced staff? 
We provide ongoing training and development opportunities, including access to diplomas in Health & Social Care, leadership training, and the chance to specialize in areas such as dementia care, palliative care, or autism support. You'll have the chance to continuously grow and refine your skills. 
What kind of support can I expect when joining the team?
You will receive a comprehensive induction (regardless of your experience level) to help you adjust to our specific approach and standards of care, and shadow shifts are available to all staff new to care. We also offer mentoring and peer support, ensuring you feel confident and equipped in your role. 
What are the opportunities for career progression?
As an experienced care worker, there are numerous paths for career growth. You can move into supervisory roles, management positions, or even specialised care fields. We are committed to helping our team members achieve their career aspirations through tailored development plans.
