Pricing categories

Pricing is split into two categories:

Care commissioned by a Council or the NHS

We're an approved care provider for various Councils and NHS purchasing bodies. Charges are set annually by these authorities.

Depending on their assessment, care may be fully funded or require a contribution from the individual receiving support.

Care purchased direct

Many people who don’t qualify for government-funded care choose to arrange private services with us. After a thorough assessment, we create a personalised care plan.

Charges depend on the time, schedule, and complexity of care, explained during the assessment. Most services are billed at a simple hourly rate covering all staffing, support, training, and travel costs.

For those needing 24/7 support, live-in care is available at a weekly rate.

Payment options

We offer flexible payment arrangements to suit individual circumstances. Below is a summary of the main funding routes and how payments are managed:

Privately Funded Care: The client is responsible for payment. Clients who are not eligible for local authority support, or who choose to arrange their care independently, fund their services directly. We issue regular invoices, and payments can be made via BACS, credit or debit card, or standing order. Local Authority-Funded Care: The local council is responsible for payment. For individuals who are eligible, the local authority arranges and funds care services directly with approved providers. We invoice the local authority for these services, and no payment is required from the client. Direct Payments: are cash payments from your local council that let you arrange your own care instead of using council-provided services. These payments are available to adults with disabilities, long-term conditions care needs, or needing support at home, parents of disabled children and Carers who need support for their own wellbeing. If you're assessed as eligible, your local council may offer you a direct payment. This gives you greater flexibility, choice, and control over how your care needs are met.

Funding your care

There are several funding options available to support individuals and families with the costs of care. Government assistance, advice, and other resources are often provided to older adults, people with disabilities, and those with health conditions who require personal or nursing care, dependent on the circumstances.

Direct Payments

Direct payments in social care are cash payments from your local council that let you arrange your own care instead of using council-provided services. These payments are available to adults with disabilities, long-term conditions care needs, or needing support at home, parents of disabled children and Carers who need support for their own wellbeing. If you're assessed as eligible for support, your local council may offer you a direct payment instead of arranging services on your behalf. This gives you greater flexibility, choice, and control over how your care needs are met.

Continuing care (NHS)

Your every nursing and care need is entitled to be paid for ‘in any setting’ – including in your own home – if, following a short clinical assessment, your local health authority agrees your health needs meet their criteria for funding. This money can be spent, for example, on 24-hour live-in nursing, night nurses or daily respite.

Long-term care insurance (‘Care Fee Payment Plans’)

This type of insurance pays out a tax-free income if you become unable to cope on your own. The income can be used to provide private help in your own home. Most insurers offer an ‘immediate care insurance’ scheme for those who need immediate and on-going care; normally you would pay a single premium, with the amount based on how long the insurance company thinks you will need care.
