What is Home Care

Often called domiciliary care, home care is a range of services put in place to support an individual in their own home. Trained carers provide services that have been agreed in a personalised assessment of the care required.

Care at home

This service is specific to the individual and can be as little or as often required, allowing you or your loved one to remain in the safety and comfort in your own home.

Person centred care

Tailoring care to meet the individual needs, preferences, and values of the person receiving care

Personal care

Assisting with daily activities such as washing, bathing, haircare, shaving, and toileting

Medication management

Helping with the administration and management of medications

Meal preperation

Providing support during mealtimes to ensure nutritional needs are met

Promoting independence

Encouraging and supporting individuals to maintain as much independence as possible in their daily lives

Under Ms. Heidi Rutter’s leadership, Network Care and Support provided consistent one-to-one assistance for my brother, Mr. RW, at home and in his daycare centre from late 2019 to March 2022. Despite his severe physical and learning needs, Network delivered tailored physical and social support. The service was exceptionally well-managed—administration was prompt, efficient, and responsive, even outside normal hours. Support staff were reliable, skilled, and compassionate, developing a strong rapport with Richard and meeting his individual needs with care. Overall, Network’s service was of outstanding quality and frequently exceeded our expectations.
